Kerry Meets with Morsi

Following meetings with opposition figures yesterday, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry met with President Muhammad Morsi today. The two leaders addressed a wide range of foreign policy issues, though the state of Egypt’s economy and ongoing unrest dominated the conversation. Following the meeting, Kerry announced $250 million in economic aid, $60 million of which would go to a “new enterprise fund.”
