Annie Street is an Advocacy Intern at the Tahrir Institute for Middle East Policy. She holds a B.A. in International Relations and a minor in Environmental Studies from the University of Southern California. Her previous experience spans research and advocacy roles with organizations including Executive Women at State, the Alsaid Foundation, Refugee Project Maastricht, the Security and Political Economy Lab, and the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies. Annie’s interests center on the intersection of climate change, resource scarcity, conflict, and migration in the MENA region. She is passionate about advancing sustainable resource management and leveraging multilateral environmental agreements as tools for peacebuilding across the region. Furthermore, Annie is dedicated to empowering localized responses to international crises, a value that led her to TIMEP.
