Faïrouz ben Salah

Faïrouz ben Salah is a Dutch-Tunisian journalist and researcher based in Tunis. She covers North Africa as a freelance reporter for Dutch newspapers, current affairs magazines, and the Dutch Broadcasting Foundation. Her writing has previously been published by international outlets, including Middle East Eye and Al Monitor. Faïrouz is a specialist in politics, social developments, social movements and migration. She conducts research for the Netherlands Institute of International Relations Clingendael and Dutch universities on a regular basis. In addition, Faïrouz has developed several educational programs in the field of preventing violent extremism and media literacy. She previously worked for more than 20 years as a project manager for the Dutch government. Faïrouz is a board member of the North African Foreign Correspondents Club (NAFC) and The International Institute For Human Development (IDH).
