Amira Mikhail


Amira Mikhail is an Equal Justice Works fellow at the International Refugee Assistance Project, where she focuses on family reunification in the United States for refugees and asylees. Ms. Mikhail, a former nonresident fellow at TIMEP, is also serving as the director of Eshhad: Center for the Protection of Minorities, a nonprofit organization that is focused on the protection of religious and ethnic minorities in the Middle East. Ms. Mikhail is a graduate of Washington College of Law at American University and Covenant College in Georgia. She has also worked at the American University in Cairo and the International Justice Program at Human Rights Watch, and as a legal fellow at Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights.
