Sarah Morsheimer is a Legal and Policy Intern at TIMEP. She is currently the legal director for Georgetown’s chapter of the International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP) and a J.D. candidate at Georgetown University Law Center, pursuing a certificate in refugees and humanitarian emergencies. Prior to pursuing her J.D., Sarah interned with the UN Assistance to the Khmer Rouge Trials in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Following this, she worked in communications for the Jesuit Refugee Service in Rome, Italy, where she traveled globally to document the experiences of refugees and raise awareness on issues of migration and refugees. While in law school, Sarah has interned for an international human rights NGO based in Tokyo and for Human Rights Now. Sarah has a particular interest in issues related to conflict, forced displacement, and transitional justice.
