Nada Ahmed


Nada Ahmed is a researcher and lawyer working in the field of human rights after obtaining her Master II from Paris X University. Nada worked had previously worked as a legal researcher in the office of Egyptian human rights defender Negad El Borai. She is the author of  The Prisoner’s Handbook, a legal guide to prison laws in Egypt and was previously a nonresident fellow at the Tahrir Institute for Middle East Policy. Nada is currently a PhD candidate at the Transitional Justice Institute in Ulster University, Northern Ireland where she investigates narratives of perpetration in transitional justice mechanisms in the post Arab Spring with a focus on Libya and Tunisia.
