Mohamed El Dahshan
Mohamed El Dahshan is a Nonresident Fellow with the Tahrir Institute for Middle East Policy and Chatham House in the UK. The rest of the time, he is Managing Director of OXCON, a consulting firm focusing on fragile and post-conflict countries. He has over 15 years of experience in development, through, among others, the UN, the African Development Bank, as well as national governments, primarily in MENA and Sub-Saharan Africa.
He is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Councils, is an Archbishop Tutu Leadership Fellow, and a UN Alliance of Civilizations Fellow.
He is an award winning writer and academic, regularly named among the “100 Africa Future Economic Leaders,” as well as the “100 Most Powerful Arabs under 40.”
Mohamed is a graduate of Oxford, Harvard, Sciences-Po Paris, and Cairo University.
