Oumayma Ben Abdallah
Oumayma Ben Abdallah is a Tunisia analyst. Currently, she is pursuing a master’s degree in international affairs at Georgetown University, where she is focusing on tech and cyber security policy in the MENA region. In 2018, she served as a Bassem Sabry Democracy Fellow at the Tahrir Institute for Middle East Policy in Washington DC. Mrs. Ben Abdallah has six years of experience in research and human rights work. She worked for three years doing research on Tunisia and Algeria for the Human Rights Watch Middle East and North Africa division, and conducting investigations on human rights abuses in both countries. Additionally, Mrs. Ben Abdallah has worked as a consultant to the United Nations Population Fund on its program on gender-based violence in Libya. She has also served as a consultant to the Global Fund on a project on HIV and healthcare access in Tunisia, and has lectured at the Mediterranean School of Business.
