The third stage of parliamentary elections continued today with voting occurring in the governorates of Qalyubia, Gharbia, Dakahlia, Minya, Qena, North Sinai, South Sinai, New Valley, and Matruh. Turnout was reported as low during the morning, steadily rising throughout the day.
To highlight election difficulties, the Christian Science Monitor discussed the troubles of an illiterate middle-aged woman in Komishfeen who was unable to fully understand the ballot.
