Al Jazeera Offices Firebombed

Today protesters firebombed the offices of news station Al Jazeera in the belief that the broadcaster’s coverage is biased toward the Muslim Brotherhood. Over the past three days 118 protesters have been arrested.

Prime Minister Hisham Qandil addressed the violence, stating a need to protect public and private property from destruction. At least 43 people have been injured since the violence began.
