Today the Supreme Council for the Armed Forces apologized for the deaths of protesters over the past week in violence centered on Mohamed Mahmoud Street. The apology found Tahrir Square peaceful as the violence ceased.
Unfortunately, this peace came after more than 3,000 people were wounded and more than 40 were killed.
