Dina Kamel

Dina Kamel is a Nonresident Fellow at TIMEP focusing on rule of law in Egypt. With a background in human rights, political science, and law, she brings nearly a decade of experience as a legal researcher specializing in Egypt’s criminal justice system. Throughout her career, she documented, analyzed, and advocated against human rights violations in Egypt. Dina has previously worked with a number of local and international human rights organizations and media outlets, such as Al Jazeera, Medina, Midan, Manshoor, Association for Freedoms of Thought and Expression (AFTE), and BELADY for Rights and Freedoms.
