Haley Schuler-McCoin is a former Senior Inclusive Economies Associate at TIMEP, focusing on climate finance. She is an economic analyst with a specialization in ecological economics and the green transition, and holds a master’s degree in Economic Policy at the Sorbonne University in Paris. While living in the Levant from 2017 to 2022, she specialized in studying the economic dimensions of the humanitarian response to Syria, consulting for a range of actors including donor networks, aid organizations, and local media. Her current research studies the impacts of climate finance on local communities and ecologies in the MENA region and in her home state of Texas in the United States.
