Hussein Baoumi

Hussein Baoumi is an independent consultant specializing in MENA foreign policy and EU-MENA relations. He previously served as a Deputy Regional Director at Amnesty International’s MENA program, where he led the organization’s foreign policy engagement with European institutions on MENA affairs. He is a former Bassem Sabry Fellow at TIMEP and an International Fellow at Dejusticia. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History from the American University in Cairo.
