Muhammed Elsukkeri is a Syrian researcher at the Omran Center for Strategic Studies. He holds a master's degree in Political Science and Public Administration from Gaziantep University and is currently pursuing a second master's degree in International Relations at Istanbul University (İstinye). He is fluent in Arabic, English, and Turkish. El-Sukari has authored several research papers and op-eds published on various platforms. His research focuses on non-state civil actors and their role in shaping modern civil society in Syria, particularly in relation to organizations and unions. Additionally, his work emphasizes understanding regional dynamics and their impact on refugee issues. He has also published numerous papers on the internal dynamics of Turkish affairs, particularly concerning party politics and foreign policies related to the Syrian issue. Through his research on civil society, he aims to reinforce modern state concepts such as democracy, governance, individual freedom, and youth political participation within the context of conflict resolution.
