Ola Salem is an Egyptian-British journalist in Washington, DC. Her work has been featured in the National, the Guardian, and Arabian Business. Before moving to the U.S., she was the National's political reporter in Abu Dhabi and covered Gulf politics and the U.A.E. parliament for five years. Ola has also lived in a number of other countries in the Middle East, including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Egypt. Ola is a master’s candidate at New York University.
