Veronica Bellintani

Veronica Bellintani is a former Nonresident Fellow at the Tahrir Institute for Middle East Policy (TIMEP); at TIMEP, her mandate focused on on victim and survivor-centric justice in Syria. She is a human rights researcher and transitional justice specialist, focusing on the Syrian conflict. She works as the Senior Legal Officer at the Syrian Legal Development Programme (SLDP), where she conducts legal research and provides legal support and capacity-building and training to Syrian civil society and associations of victims and survivors and families of victims. In the past, Veronica worked with All Survivors Project, and the War Reparations Centre of the University of Amsterdam. Veronica Bellintani holds a LL.M in Human Rights Law and Transitional Justice from the Transitional Justice Institute in Belfast. She speaks Italian, English, Spanish and Arabic.
