Vidya Kakra

Vidya Kakra, a graduate student at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, is pursuing a master's degree (LL.M.) in International Law with a focus on Human Rights Law. As a member of the Fletcher International Law Practicum, she researched and advocated for the rights of children facing statelessness in northwest Syria. Presently, her research revolves around the violation of the rights to freedom of expression, as well as freedom of assembly, particularly among Human Rights Defenders in India.
